About the Artist:

Thank you for visiting my homepage. Like you, I am inspired by beauty. Imagine my joy and wonder when I realized years ago that I could create it! This feeling has persisted for over 50 years as I learned new skills and found I was renewed by both the process and the outcomes.

Appreciating the beauty around me and creating beautiful art objects feels like energizing a lifeline to my soul. This has been especially comforting during times that appeared to me like my world was changing before I was ready for it to do so...2020 is a case in point. We're still in a time of momentous disruption, anxiety and change in both the global and our personal worlds as we realize that we are restless for stability.

Fortunately, there is an energy in creating art that moves me, as an artist and a person, outside of myself to connect with other kindred spirits and lovers of beauty. Could it be that beauty reminds us of our divine natures and deep knowing that on that spiritual level all is well and perfect?

Currently I am especially drawn to creating works that intentionally incorporate the design concepts through mixing multiple mediums (acrylic and pastel paints; clay; metal and glass). It's like life...a mix of lots of good ideas. I'm finding that I enjoy inviting serendipity and magic into my process as expecting the unexpected also keeps me open and flexible in my approach and attitudes. Since I've used harmony symbology in my art for many years it seems especially relevant now to share it with others. Historically, colors and symbols serve as visual reminders of mystical renewal. I have faith in the interconnectedness of our spirits with each other. This is what I hope to share with you through art that inspires...enjoy!
